🛑 SATIRE DISCLAIMER (Now With Extra Riot Gear):
This is a fictional rant in the voice of George Carlin. If you think deploying Marines on Main Street is “community policing,” maybe stop snorting the Constitution like it’s powdered patriotism.
So let me get this straight.
Los Angeles says, “No thanks, we’re good,” and the federal government responds by sending in the fucking Marines?
Not for a hurricane.
 Not for a wildfire.
Not for a goddamn mass shooting.
No—this time it’s immigration raids.
ICE came knocking and brought 2,000 National Guard troops and 700 Marines with them. That’s not law enforcement—that’s a hostile takeover in camo.
And guess what?
They didn’t even ask the state.
No green light from the governor. No consent from the mayor. No authorization from the people who actually run California.
Because apparently, “states’ rights” only matter when you’re banning books and outlawing drag brunches.
Mayor Bass is out here saying LA’s a test case for federal overreach. And she’s right—this is a dry run for tyranny. Gavin Newsom’s suing to block it. Trump’s response?
“Maybe we’ll arrest the governor.”
Arrest the governor.
Because he wouldn’t hand over his state like it’s a fucking Costco return.
You know what that is?
That’s not democracy. That’s a hostage situation.
And let’s not kid ourselves—this wasn’t about enforcing immigration law. This was about making an example.
Target the brown.
 Intimidate the poor.
Punish the cities that don’t toe the federal line.
And if anyone protests?
Flashbangs.
 Tear gas.
 Rubber bullets.
All for exercising their First Amendment rights—which, in this administration, ranks somewhere between jaywalking and treason.
Now let’s talk legality—because this shit isn’t just authoritarian. It’s unconstitutional with a cherry on top.
📛 The Insurrection Act? Only applies in emergencies. Protests aren’t an emergency—unless your plan is to squash resistance before it spreads.
đź“› Federalizing the National Guard without consent? Last time that happened, it was for civil rights, not against them.
📛 Threatening to jail state leaders? That’s not executive action. That’s Banana Republic cosplay. And not the sexy kind.
And while all this goes down, the media’s still debating whether it’s “strong leadership” or “controversial policy.”
It’s not either of those.
It’s a fucking power grab.
The kind that doesn’t ask.
 The kind that doesn’t wait.
The kind that knocks down your door and says, “We’re here to liberate you—from your rights.”
And that, folks, is the point.
This wasn’t about ICE. This wasn’t about crime.
This was about control.
About seeing how far they can push it.
How many rights they can roll back.
How many governors they can silence.
How many cities they can occupy before someone finally says, “Enough.”
Because this isn’t a glitch.
This is the goddamn plan.
A dry run for a future where the federal government doesn’t cooperate—it conquers.
So if you're still out here thinking, “They’d never go full dictatorship,” let me introduce you to Los Angeles, June 2025.
End scene.
And if you still think this is about law and order? Great.
Let them kick your door in next. See how orderly that feels.
