Adam Gaffen is the creative mind behind The Cassidy Chronicles and its expansive universe, often referred to as the Cassidyverse. This near-future, hopepunk series follows the thrilling and emotional journey of Kendra and Aiyana Cassidy as they face off against both human and alien threats, all while trying to bring humanity to the stars. Gaffen’s writing is known for its vibrant characters, intricate world-building, and focus on relationships. In addition to his science fiction work, Gaffen has ventured into fantasy and romance with projects like the Godsfall trilogy, blending genres in unique and compelling ways. His dedication to creating diverse, inclusive stories has earned him accolades, including nominations for the DragonCon Dragon Awards and recognition from the Writers of the Future.

In addition to his novels, Gaffen has published collections of short fiction, technical manuals, and middle-grade novels, all of which exist within the Cassidyverse. He has been a guest speaker at various conventions such as AmazingCon and COSine2022 and is an active member of the Heinlein Society. Adam is also the recipient of multiple indie publishing awards, including being a three-time winner of the Top 25 Indie Books of the Year for his works The Heart of Space, The Ghosts of Tantor, and Triumph’s Ashes. Currently residing in Colorado, Adam shares his life with his wife, their five dogs, five cats, and an endless passion for storytelling.
