Seriously—what the actual fuck?

We did this already. World War II. Japanese internment. Round up families. Ship ‘em off. Tell ‘em it’s “for their safety.” Lock ‘em behind barbed wire in goddamn desert camps. Then we said “oops, our bad” forty years later, cut some checks, built some memorials, and swore never again.

And now? Eighty years later? We’re dusting off the same goddamn playbook and building the largest immigrant detention center in U.S. history at Fort Bliss. You know, the exact same place we used to cage Japanese Americans.

You can’t write satire this fucked up.

It’s not “border security.” It’s not “temporary detention.” It’s the same xenophobic paranoia we had in 1942, just with shinier tents and more press releases. They even had the balls to call it a $1.2 BILLION “tent city.” Jesus Christ—at least the Nazis built their camps out of brick.

And they’re not filling it with “the worst of the worst.” No—ICE’s own data says damn near half the people in custody have no criminal record. No charges. No convictions. Just unlucky enough to be “the wrong kind of human” in Trump’s America.

We’re repeating history like a drunk with amnesia. Except this time, we don’t even have the excuse of being scared shitless after Pearl Harbor. No sneak attack, no war declaration—just a tangerine tyrant screaming “alien enemies” into a microphone and signing checks for private contractors.

And let’s not sugarcoat it: once you normalize mass detention camps on U.S. soil, where does it stop? Immigrants today. Disabled kids tomorrow. Dissidents next week. Hell, you burn a flag and suddenly you’re in a cage with a view of the goddamn alligators.

And the gall—the sheer motherfucking gall—of calling this “American.”

I’ll tell you what’s American: the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the whole fucking idea that this country was supposed to be better than a monarchy or a dictatorship. You don’t shred that to keep coal donors happy and MAGA voters scared.

So yeah, let me say it plain: Fort Bliss is not a detention center. It’s a concentration camp. If you don’t like the word, maybe stop building the fucking camps.
