🎤 Carlin-Style Rant: “SIT UP AT ATTENTION”

⚠️ SATIRE DISCLAIMER (Dictator Aspirations Edition)

This is a fictional rant in the full George Carlin voice. If you thought democracy meant thinking for yourself, tough—because he wants you “obedient” like Kim’s people, and treats your autonomy like it’s a glitch in his rerun.

So let me get this straight.

He stood on the White House lawn, chest puffed out, eyes glinting, and told us he wants obedience—like in a totalitarian state. He said he wants people to sit up at attention, not because they believe, not because they understand, but because he expects it.

That’s democracy?

That’s not governance.

That’s a freakin’ military parade in human form.

Imagine this: You walk into work, and instead of “Good morning,” you hear “ATTENTION!” Because if you're not reverent, he says “kidding” later. Or he says you don’t “understand sarcasm.”

In other words—shut up, bow, move on. Because that’s what North Korea taught him leadership looks like.

🧯 Let’s talk symbolism:

  •  Kim’s regime starves dissent and demands fealty as law.
  • Our president admires it—and want’s it here?

Hold up.

We didn’t fight a revolution to swap kings with a blabbering buffoon who thinks being on TV automatically makes you worthy of obedience.

🔥 This isn’t charisma. This is a cult of personality.

It’s not “strong leadership to read a speech.”

 It’s “my people don’t think—they obey.”

Which sounds less like democracy and more like day-one dictator moves.

⚖️ Endgame:

If you think it’s cute—a lighthearted moment—ask yourself who’s sitting up and who’s cowering when obedience is stated as a virtue. Because if that isn’t precisely how authoritarianism gets started, I don’t know what is.

End scene.

He wanted you to sit up.

But America wasn’t built to sit up.

It was built to stand tall.

 To stand free.

And when a president wants you to sit?

Better stand the hell up.
